Top 3 Best Trampoline Reviews
Best Trampoline Reviews: Skywalker 15′ Round Trampoline and Enclosure
The first of our best trampoline reviews is the Skywalker 15′ Round Trampoline and Enclosure. This trampoline is very popular on Amazon, with a 4.6/5 star rating (the best trampoline reviews of the three) and over 150 reviews. In fact, Skywalker creates the best selling trampolines for Amazon. One of the biggest advantages of this trampoline is the fact that it provides all the features required of a best trampoline, but is also among the cheapest in the market.
The trampoline diameter is 15′, which is the largest of the three trampolines, but extends to about 16′ with the poles. So if you intend on setting this up in your backyard with limited space, make sure to consider that.
The biggest selling point for this trampoline is that it is among the most affordable trampolines on the market. The Skywalker is probably the best trampoline in terms of cost-efficiency.
The Skywalker trampoline also has a recommended weight of only 200 lbs. It’s important to note that the recommended weight limit doesn’t mean your trampoline will collapse if it exceeds the weight! One buyer mentioned having 3 people weight a total of 350 lbs without issue, and another buyer mentioned having 4 teens on at the same time. However, going over the weight limit consistently may affect your trampoline’s lifespan. It’s clear that the affordable cost of the Skywalker is due to the lower weight limit. Many trampoline reviews will fail to point this out.
The build quality of the Skywalker trampoline is very solid, as all of our top 3 trampolines are. Of the 150+ reviews on Amazon, there has been one complaint of the mat having a tear within 4 months. However, something to note is the warranty for the Skywalker trampoline is the shortest of the 3. The are under warranty for 90 days, so in the event there is a tear in the mat or damage to the enclosure, Skywalker will NOT cover you when the time is up! The frame however is under warranty for an entire year.
- The best trampoline in terms of affordability
- Solid build quality
- Very highly rated and reviewed on Amazon
- Weakest warranty
- Lowest recommended weight (200 lbs)
Best Trampoline Reviews: Ultega 14′ Jumper Trampoline with Safety Net
The Ultega 14′ Jumper Trampoline with Safety Net is our second of our best trampoline reviews. This is another very popular trampoline on Amazon, with as many reviews as the Skywalker. The average rating is a bit lower at 4.3/5 stars, but still remains as an extremely hot seller on Amazon. Ultega excels in their customer service department. Any disgruntled customers that leave negative trampoline reviews on Amazon are immediately contacted by Ultega for personalized help, and many buyers state their experience with customer service has always been a pleasure.
The trampoline itself has a diameter of 14′, but has an interesting safety feature where the legs extend outward an additional foot. So, like the Skywalker, you’ll need to consider the fact that the trampoline has a 15′ diameter at the base. That being said, the leg extension seems like it would provide additional sturdiness compared to the Skywalker.
The biggest selling point for the Ultega trampoline is the massive 440 lb recommended weight capacity. Once again, we must reiterate that this is the recommended weight capacity, and not the actual weight capacity. That being said, you can assume this trampoline is probably designed to last much longer when they’re confident enough to put 440 lbs on their product. It is the best trampoline for weight capacity.
Lastly, the Ultega trampoline has a completely solid 2 year warranty on everything. This is one of the best trampoline warranties available. Unlike the Skywalker trampoline, any damaged parts will be protected for the duration, as opposed to just the frame.
- Great customer service
- 2 year warranty for both frame and parts
- Extremely high weight capacity
- More expensive than Skywalker but similar specs
Best Trampoline Reviews: Springfree 10′ Trampoline with Safety Enclosure
The last of our best trampoline reviews is the Springfree 10′ Trampoline with Safety Enclosure. This trampoline has a HUGE selling point compared to every other trampoline on the market. Like the name says, the trampoline is actually spring-free, and does not have an outer frame. This means a person bouncing off too far to a side will NEVER come in contact with a metal frame. The Springfree trampoline has won numerous safety awards, and been featured on TV shows such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Today Show.
Naturally, this seems like the absolute best trampoline on the market.
Of course, not everything is perfect about this trampoline. By far the biggest drawback for this trampoline is the price. You can expect to pay three to five times as much for the Springfree trampoline compared to traditional counterparts on the market! Many trampoline reviews fail to point this out!
This particular model comes at a diameter of 10′, but because of the Springfree design with no outer frame, it has the same jumping space of a 12′ traditional trampoline. It is also important to note that with the outer enclosure, Springfree recommends having 18 feet of space for the trampoline. Make sure you have the space in your backyard!
The recommended weight limit for this trampoline is at a respectable 250 lbs, but Springfree has mentioned the true structural load capacity is up to 1100 lbs before bottoming out.
The Springfree trampoline is a very well established brand, and as a result have a whopping 8 year warranty on the hidden frame. The materials also come with a very respectable 2 year warranty. It is important to note you must register your trampoline with Springfree in order to receive the full warranty, otherwise it will be half of what was mentioned above. This is the best trampoline warranty available.
An additional perk of this trampoline is it comes with their free stepladder, as well as a basketball hoop and ball. In total, this is a $279 value from Springfree.
According to Amazon trampoline reviews, one common complaint about this trampoline is that the assembly can be quite difficult. The rods that are put in place require quite a bit of force to set up, and can cause injury if not done carefully. Springfree’s website has step-by-step instructions to make the process easier for the buyer.
- The safest trampoline
- The best trampoline warranty on the market
- Comes with basketball hoop/ball and stepladder ($279 value)
- Very expensive!
- Can be difficult to assemble
So what is the best trampoline?
The answer: it depends.
If you’re looking for the absolute best trampoline without regards to cost, then the Springfree trampoline is a clear winner.
If you’re looking for the best bang for your buck, we would recommend the Skywalker trampoline.
If you plan on having lots of people on the trampoline, and need something that will last, go for the Ultega trampoline.
With that, we hope our trampoline reviews have been of help, and good luck finding the best trampoline for you!
